Facebook brings stickers to web version of Messenger

For those avid Facebook users who missed the rather interactive and expressive stickers on the social network for the web, Facebook has finally introduced stickers to its private messenger in its web app. These stickers include various types of elaborated, quirky emoticons and animations to enhance the user’s chatting experience.
As a part of revamping the interface of its service, the social network had first launched these stickers in Aprilthis year to its apps including the Facebook Messenger app on Android and iOS. This was mainly done in order to take the social network’s chat service at par other third party messengers like WhatsApp. While other apps offered an interactive, clean and more user friendly interface, Facebook messenger was a bit clustered earlier, and stickers were a major part of its revamped interface for apps.
Those interested in using these stickers can access these from the old and usual smiley icon which is given inside the chat room. Users can also expand their sticker list by downloading more packs for free from Facebook’s sticker store.
